About us

Legal Aid NSW helps people with their legal problems. We can help people with most areas criminal law, family law and every day civil law legal issues. We give legal advice, help at court and do family dispute resolution. We can do this over the telephone or at one of our 28 offices.  

 About the role

The Aboriginal Services Branch is a fast paced, collaborative and cohesive team that works effectively across the organisation.  


The Project Officer, Aboriginal Programs reports to the Manager Aboriginal Programs and will provide high level administrative and project support necessary for the smooth operation of the team. The position involves collaborating with the team and working on multiple projects simultaneously related to initiatives led by the Aboriginal Services Branch.

About you

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and dedicated team member with demonstrated skills and experience in administration and project management to join the Aboriginal Services?Branch.  


You will have excellent communication and organisation skills, be a team player, work collaboratively, able to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and have a demonstrated understanding of the complex needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities.
